Overview

The dual-shaft shredder is a machine that shreds materials through shearing, tearing, and compressive forces generated by two counter-rotating knife shafts. It is suitable for pre-shredding various types of waste in waste processing production lines, including construction and renovation debris, municipal solid waste, bulky waste, plastics, wood, light metals, packaging materials, etc., reducing material size to facilitate subsequent sorting or reprocessing.

This equipment features a low-speed, high-torque dual-shaft design. The knives interlock with each other and stably shred complex materials based on a shearing principle. The knives are made of alloy materials with good wear resistance. The machine is equipped with an intelligent overload protection system, making it suitable for handling contaminated or entangled materials. It can be integrated with conveyors, magnetic separators, air classifiers, and other equipment to form a continuous processing line.

【Working Principle】:
After materials enter the shredding chamber, two sets of blade-equipped main shafts rotate toward each other. Through the combined actions of shearing, tearing, and compression between the knives, materials are progressively broken into smaller pieces. The shredded material is discharged through a screen or outlet, and the particle size can be controlled by adjusting the knife gap or screen aperture.
